During the last few years I have explored Provence in the south-east of France from our new home base of Aix-en-Provence.

Translating my impressions of this enchanting region into sketches was inevitable. Over the centuries the region’s unique quality of light and striking colour palette have inspired artists and writers alike, both native and foreign.
